Artur Dron's work has been recognized by juries in Ukraine and abroad as a defining voice of the generation. His debut prose book, Hemingway Knows Nothing (2025), sold out its initial print run within weeks and has since sold rights to publishers in ten countries, including the UK, France, and Germany.

His debut poetry collection, Dormitory No. 6 (2020), earned a special distinction from the Anatoly Krylovets Prize (2021). His second collection, We Were Here (2023), builds portraits of ordinary people caught in war in spare, understated verse. Reviewing the English edition for The Times Literary Supplement The Times Literary Supplement, scholar and translator Uilleam Blacker called its language "beguiling and ironic."

His debut prose book, Hemingway Knows Nothing (2025), extends that testimony into longer form – essays on faith, brotherhood, fear, and loss. It sold out its initial print run of 3,000 copies within weeks, has since been reprinted seven times to a combined 50,000+ copies, and its rights have sold to publishers in ten countries, including the United Kingdom, France, Germany and Brazil. For this book, Dron received the George Shevelyov Prize (2025) – awarded by PEN Ukraine for the finest Ukrainian essay writing – and a KBU Awards Special Award (2025), whose jury cited the book's sincerity and its voice for a new generation.
