Best of Ukrainian rap scene
It all began when rap artist Alyona Alyona released her first music video to her song Fishes, which went viral on YouTube and has meanwhile collected over a million views. But she is far from being just another one-hit wonder. There is something about Alyona Alyona that goes beyond her no-doubt impressive appearance: her confident attitude, her captivating flow, her lyrical prowess, her sound delivery and her childlike alter-ego have turned her into one of Ukraine’s top rappers.

Fo Sho is an African-Ukrainian hip-hop project that has been on the Ukrainian music scene since 2019. The three sisters represent their unique cultural background in their songs, style, and energetic performances. Their music is a fusion of modern genres from trap to hip hop, with sprinkles of RnB and rock. Their debut album and Ukrainian tour are in the works.

Nytso Potvorno is the alter ego of Serhii Husak, ex-frontman of the rock band "Lady Junk" and a doctor in life. He creates scary, realistic and psychedelic songs each one containing a wholesome story.

A palindrome is a word, number, phrase, or other sequence of symbols that reads the same backwards as forwards. Rapper in the past and artist in the present, Stepan Burban chose it as an artistic pseudonym. Palindrom synthesizes the music of the past, saturates it with the Ukrainian cultural context: pop singer Ivan Popovych and poet Vasyl Stus coexist here, among urbanistic Western Ukrainian landscapes, angry social criticism of Ukrainian reality, a sad, nostalgic atmosphere, the study of oneself, and one's attitude to reality and life in all its manifestations.

Stasik, or Anastasiia Shevchenko, is a Ukrainian singer. As a combatant in Donbas, she creates her art based on the experience of war. In her songs Stasik turns herself into a weapon and poetically injures with words.
