Onuka is a joint project by Nata Zhyzhchenko and the famous Ukrainian sound producer and musician Yevhen Filatov (also known as The Maneken). Onuka’s music is an organic mix of electronica, current pop music, and Ukrainian ethnic music. On stage, their group expands to seven musicians and many varied tools: antique wooden flutes (sopilka), a Ukrainian lute (bandura), trombones, drums, and keyboards. Everything is then filtered through cutting-edge technology.

Odyn v Kanoe is a Ukrainian indie band founded in Lviv in 2010. The number of participants changed several times. The modern composition of the group consists of vocalist Iryna Shvaidak, guitarist Ustym Pokhmurskyi, and session drummer Ihor Dzikovskyi.

Kalush is a trio from the new Ukrainian hip-hop wave, formed in 2019. The band is named after the hometown of its leader. The machine-gun reading of the lead MC, aggressive punches from 'Carpet Man,' and the ethnic colour of live folk instruments—this original ensemble simply couldn't go unnoticed for long! Kalush raps in a special slang that is understandable only to residents of Kalush city.

This Ukrainian band plays in the genres of hip-hop and funky grooves. Andrii Khlyvniuk, Andriy Samoil (Mukha), and Valentyn Matiiuk (Dj Valik) created it in Kyiv in 2004. The band is a member of the association of independent musicians “Vdoh”.

The band’s work is about the desire to find new forms of popular music, to create a new space and context for living in today’s world, and how one may find a new, creative energy in life.
