Kyiv National I. K. Karpenko-Kary Theatre, Cinema and Television University is a national university specializing exclusively in performing arts and located in Kyiv, Ukraine. It is a multidisciplinary institution that includes a department of theatrical arts and the Institute of Screen Arts.
The School raises a new generation of workers in the Ukrainian film industry. Its students receive a decent film education, learn how to make a film in practice, and have the opportunity to gain knowledge from the best professionals in the industry. Kyiv Academy of Media Arts is the leading alternative education institution in Ukraine which is dedicated to entering creative occupations. Gaining skills here daily provides communication with creative directors and strategists of advertising agencies, brainstorms and discussions with various eastern and Ukrainian designers, directors, workshops with famous artists and debates with art critics.
The Sergey Bukovsky Film Program was established in 2014 as a postgraduate program for young documentary filmmakers.
Indie Lab is the filmmaking laboratory for young artists. The laboratory was founded in 2013 with support from the United States Embassy in Ukraine.
