The loudest musical mainstream festivals
Atlas Weekend – one of the biggest Ukrainian music festivals. It takes place in Kiyv every summer held at the Expocenter of Ukraine in Kyiv, Ukraine. It was founded by Dmytro Sydorenko and is organized by PMK Event Agency and concert hall Atlas. The event features many genres of music, including rock, indie, hip-hop, and electronic dance music.

Faine Misto — a Ukrainian music open-air festival. It takes place in Ternopil every summer. Founded by Maksym Cherkashyn, Rostyslav Plahtsinskyi, Volodymyr Pasiaka and Rustam Erheshov, Faine Misto promotes popularization of active recreation among youth and development of the festival movement in Ukraine.

7 dance floors, more than 70 music collectives and artists, dozens of art objects – all this spread over the 50,000 square metres of a working factory. This is when one of Kyiv’s factories will turn into a mecca of independent music and culture.

Zaxid Fest was founded by Yakiv Matviichuk in 2009. It takes place in Lviv oblast, Western part of Ukraine, and presents rock, ethnic music, other popular genres with famous foreign performers among headliners. The event aims at promoting Ukrainian culture and festival tourism. What’s special about Zaxid Fest is that, unlike other festivals, it acts without sponsorship and support from political or any other organizations.

Respublica FEST is an international festival of music and street art, which has been taking place for 10 years in an ancient 16th-century castle in Kamianets-Podilskyi (Ukraine). In 10 years, the festival has turned from a local festival into an international event that annually gathers from 10,000 to 20,000 visitors from different parts of Ukraine. For 10 years, the festival was attended by artists from 30 countries, including Argentina, Australia, and Mexico. Thanks to the festival, a large number of international exchange projects of young artists, musicians, artists, and representatives of performing arts have been created.

Bandershtat festival takes place annually in Lutsk or Rovantsi and lasts 3 days. The festival features performances by Ukrainian bands representing all styles and directions of modern Ukrainian alternative music. Various master classes are also held, which promote a pro-Ukrainian way of thinking, the Ukrainian language, culture, life activity, etc.

Upark is a three-day music festival founded by Mykola Isidorov that takes place in Kyiv every summer. It is widely-known for its top international line-ups that have already included worldwide artists such as Red Hot Chili Peppers, Muse, The Prodigy, Die antwoord.
