Peak performative festivals in Ukraine
The Ukrainian Theatre Festival and Award “GRA” (“Great Real Art”) was founded by the National Union of Theatre Workers of Ukraine.
The main goal of the Festival is to bring all theatres of the country together and present their best achievements to Ukraine and the international community; to promote the national scenic art in all its genres, styles, and forms; to identify the key trends; and to encourage the development of the competitive environment in the Ukrainian theatre.

Parade Fest aims to “rethink the image of Kharkiv through art”. Veronika Sklyarova, the artistic director of the festival, realises this goal through several parallel programmes of the festival: performative, educational, and urban programmes implemented by artists from Ukraine, the UK, Austria, Germany, the Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia, the USA, the Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia, and other countries.

Gogolfest is an annual multidisciplinary international festival of contemporary art. The main traits of the festival are the involvement of local artists in the festival programme in different cities and the close cooperation with the local team in the organisation of the project. It inspires residents of the city to find their own modern identity and to create their own brand that will become known in Ukraine and abroad, as well as to explore Ukraine and create common cultural values for different regions.

Melpomene of Tavria
The International Theatre Festival “Melpomene of Tavria” is an annual international drama festival held in Kherson in mid-June. The festival aims to popularise theatre, raise its profile, exchange experiences between creative teams, and introduce the audience to musical theatre premieres and the most interesting finds of theatres from different regions of Ukraine and other countries.
