Ukrainian-born and Berlin-based Kateryna Zavoloka, who goes by the stage name Zavoloka, is a blossoming composer, sound artist, performer, and visual artist. She devotes herself to orchestrating uncompromising experimental music, free from genre-dependent definitions and styles. Her works always stem from a very strong conceptual base, unveiling creations that are more than just music, but exhibit deep artistic research and combine traditional and modern technical elements to show the boundlessness of her creative freedom.

Kurs Valüt appeared in early 2017 at the Module club (Dnipro, Ukraine). It was a search and exploration of a local musical identity, dwelling somewhere in a post-industrial eastern Ukraine. Band focused on rethinking the traditional flows of a minimal wave. The fusion of a various stylistics created a new genre titled Dnipropop.
