Yuliya Musakovska is an internationally acclaimed Ukrainian poet and translator and is the recipient of many Ukrainian and international literary awards. Her work has been translated into more than 30 languages, books published in the United States, Poland, and Sweden. Her poetry has been featured in numerous collaborative projects with musicians and visual artists. She is a co-founder of the Lines of Resistance initiative between Ukraine and UK, dedicated to translating, publishing, and researching Ukrainian wartime poetry. A cultural advocate for Ukraine, Yuliya is a frequent speaker and performer at literary festivals and events worldwide. She received her Master's degree in International Relations from Ivan Franko National University of Lviv and is a member of PEN Ukraine. 

She is the author of six poetry collections, most recently Stones and Nails (2024), which captures how a poet's voice breaks through numbness to record and process the unimaginable reality of war. Her collection The God of Freedom (2021), released in English translation by Arrowsmith Press, was named one of the Top 10 Ukraine-Related Books of 2024 Top 10 Ukraine-Related Books of 2024 by The Kyiv Independent.
